This TV is wonderful! It's my first wide-screen. Price was a major concern, but Amazon's free "white glove" delivery service was the clincher. The TV is infinitely adjustable. There's a menu for everything. Example: The factory adjustments are near perfect, but if you like cooler/warmer colors, etc., you've got them with a simple menu setting. I have two minor complaints: 1) The onboard sound system is marginal. (You were going to connect to a Home Theater sound system, weren't you?) ...and... 2) The user's manual is too thick and overly complicated.

After looking at flat screen TV's for several years, I finally decided to make a purchase. I usually spend way too much time researching these types of things. The Samsung and Sony TV's seemed to stack up the best. I had been looking at the Samsung LNT5271F quite closely, but was afraid to make the purchase due to the dead pixel problems it was reported to have. The Sony TV's had that unpleasant looking clear plastic edge around the TV. I just couldn't commit to any of them.

Then I noticed this Samsung LN52A650 that had the 120Hz refresh rate. I did some research into it and was very impressed with the great reviews. I couldn't find one locally to look at - so I did something I normally wouldn't do. . . I bought this TV sight unseen from Amazon.

Without getting into all of the details that others have written, I can tell you that I love this TV! This TV has an incredible picture.

Buyers won't be disappointed.

This TV is as good as all the reviews say it is. Picture on blu-rays is so clean that they have a bit of a 3-D feel. If you're looking for a 50-55 inch HDTV, BUY THIS ONE!!!

After obsessing over which tv to purchase for over a year, whether to go plasma or lcd, what size to get, etc. etc. i have found my match. The clarity and smoothness of the picture is amazing, the colors are vibrant, the blacks are very deep, it's just amazing. the touch of red on the surround is barely noticable and i get comments on it all the time. I'd recommend the tv to anyone. just be ready to spend money on a good hdmi cable, you really see any imperfections in the picture if its not coming from a good source.

The picture and sound quality are excellent. I'm not an electronics expert but having seen many LCD TVs in home environments, I'd rate this as superior. Set up and install was easy.

Shipping was very timely. Would purchase same item from same vender again.

This TV is the best LCD on the market right now. And, buying through Amazon cannot be beat. Their price is significantly lower than any price you will find in any retail store. I even have a friend that can get a corporate discount through Best Buy, and Amazon's price is still WAY lower. To top it off, Amazon throws in their white glove delivery for free. They unwrap the tv, set it up where you want it placed, and make sure it turns on and receives signal when hooked up to your cable box. The tv even arrived sooner than the quoted delivery date when I first placed my order. As for the product itself... AMAZING. I do not see how it could get any better than this. The picture is flawless. With the 120 hz filter on, it even looks TOO real. It blows my mind that you actually have to NOT take advantage of all the options available on this tv in order to get the best quality picture for watching movies!

I had been debating about purchasing a new flat panel TV for quite some time. Once I made the decision to go with LCD instead of plasma, I began reading tons of information and reviews online. It was clear that Samsung had something special here with this unit.

The 650 series had everything I was looking for. It had 4ms response time, 4 HDMI inputs, deep blacks, and 120Hz frame rate. It was the favored flat panel of reviewers everywhere, both professional and consumer. Samsung I believe, has caught and now passed Sony in the technology, features and most important, performance in their LCD HDTV's. And I might add, hundreds of dollars cheaper! Samsung clearly gives more value per dollar.

Amazon had the best price anywhere I'd seen, and in the days following my purchase, the price was lowered even further. Amazon customer service was always friendly and happy to refund the difference. CEVA was prompt to call me for scheduleing delivery, and allowed me to take delivery on a Saturday, so I wouldn't have to miss work.

Now that I've been viewing this unit for the past couple of weeks, I can promise you, I've never seen better picture quality. Its just fantastic!

I've read some people complain about the remote control, and it concerned me. Yeah, I don't really like the wheel, but its not as bad as I thought it would be.

Overall, I couldn't be more happy with this TV, and the entire buying experience with Amazon.
